We just love a romantic Estate on the Halifax wedding! Congratulations to Laura and Jonathan who were recently married at the beautiful Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange, Florida. This couple had one of the sweetest and most emotional first looks I have ever done, and I don’t even need to explain more, just see his reactions in the images! It takes just a second to realize how much they are in love when they look at each other. Theirs is the kind of love that radiated outward and warmed the hearts of all in attendance.

They were married in the Chapel and the weather was so perfect it just afforded us the best photo opportunities the Gardens can offer and we took full advantage!

The details perfect in their simplicity bore bright fuchsia’s that popped against navy blues that were present in the bouquet and the bridesmaid’s dresses. There was a beautiful blend of shimmery golds and baby’s breath that just emanates elegance and softness. We were able to sneak away during the reception for some classic star shots and even a faux rain photo, but we won’t give away our secret!

Between the gorgeous Estate on the Halifax and our favorite DJ Man Joe to provide the dance tunes, this wedding was nothing short of perfection! Anna + Andrew

What can I say!? I was able to photograph Anna and Andrew’s engagement (get to know you) session just a couple of days before their Estate on the Halifax wedding. We met up in Daytona Beach and had a great time doing some urban exploring. I drove around with them and we stopped at a few different locations to maximize the variety. It was refreshing and I was so happy to be able to fit that in with them before the wedding. The wedding day was a lot of fun! Their family, bridal party and wedding was just the same!

Julie & Josh’s Gold and Blush Estate Wedding

Julie and Josh had a classical romantic wedding in a chapel on a private estate. The color palate reflected that of warm spring tones. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen both wore blush in their attire, while Josh stood out with his classic black bow tie and vest. The florals were a mix of blush, ivory and violet garden roses, while Julie’s completed vintage look was topped off with an amazing cathedral length veil. The soft touches made for very romantic and whimsical photos of the newly married couple, and the decor inside the tavern was nothing short of magical.

Sweet Honey Vintage Wedding | Alicia + Joey The Estate on the Halifax

Sweet honey favors adorned this vintage wedding at The Estate on the Halifax. The bridesmaids dresses were various vintage shades ranging from blues, toupees and baby pinks. Alicia’s dress featured lace and tulle accented with a sequinned belt. The groom and groomsmen added some spunky flavor to the mix with their action hero themed socks alongside their pink, black and white plaid ties. Another unique twist to Alicia and Joey’s wedding was her orate bouquet of a variety of broaches and pins in place of flowers. How stunning! Some of the details also included cute key charms and miniature bottles of honey as gifts for the guests ” Sweet honey vintage wedding” . The end of their wedding was complete with an awesome photograph of the newlyweds kissing in the charming sparkles. Congratulations to Alicia and Joey!

“What’s in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” Heather Fields + Bobby Lavender = An adorable name change on their wedding day, hence the Fields of Lavender title! Even the wedding colors played on the couple’s last name! Some adorable details to look for in the blog are the groomsmen’s shoes, and the detail on the back of the wedding cake. I’m not going to tell you what it is, you are going to have to look and find it 🙂 Let’s just say the couple definitely loves to go fishing!
