Congratulations Tiffany + Chris | The Estate Tavern and Chapel in the Garden

Like

Chris and Tiffany got married on their seven year anniversary. They shared their special day with 65 of their closest friends and family. Their wedding was a reflection of our time together and the future we wanted. Although they originally wanted to have a destination wedding in the Carolina’s, Tiffany says, “When we found the Estate on the Halifax with its 10 acres of reserved land, adorable quaint chapel, cottages, gazebo, koi ponds, gardens and river views, we were thrilled! It felt like a secret hideaway made just for our wedding.”

“New: Wedding Dress, Old: My Great Grandmother’s Lucky 13 Gold Charm (pinned in my dress) Borrowed: Hair Comb from my Godmother, Blue: Our wedding date was sewn in blue in my wedding dress by my grooms mom”

“My favorite flower is the sunflower so I knew I wanted it to be a main part in the theme. Since we have plans to go to Italy for the honeymoon, it seemed fitting to plan our wedding in a Tuscan theme.”

“We used wine corks for a few things. They were used in the vases for the centerpieces and also used to hold place cards. Throughout our engagement, friends and family would save wine corks for us! My brother worked at a restaurant and was able to get us the majority of them. It was fun saving them and getting our friends and family involved in the process.”

“I think my favorite moment was during our first dance. I had searched for the perfect song, and yet during our dance I wasn’t even listening to it. I was soaking it all in. I just focused on my groom holding me as we swayed on the dance floor, everyone’s eyes glued to us with smiles and tears of pure joy.”
