Vintage Wedding at the Estate

Vintage Wedding at the Estate

Caitlyn and Coleman

Congrats to Caitlyn and Coleman who had a sweet vintage wedding at the Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange! Their color palette consisted of ivory and blush which complemented each other perfectly. Their special day was filled with many fun moments. After their ceremony we took the newlyweds and their wedding party for some fun pictures. Thanks to the groomsmen for being such fun and good sports for those! Their pictures of them holding bouquets made for a good laugh when I saw them! Before their grand entrance into their reception we went on the balcony of the Tavern to get some gorgeous silhouette shots of the couple with a beautiful sunset as their backdrop. The fun reception made way for their grand sparkler exit and then some awesome night shots, and even a rain shot. Take a peek at some highlights from their wedding day below and don’t forget to leave them some love and well wishes in the comments!

Jennifer + Jacob | Delamater House Destination Wedding

Jennifer met Jacob when she moved from Florida to Texas. Although it was not love at first sight for Jennifer and Jacob, their friends quickly realized  that something was blossoming between the two of them. As the two began to hang out more and more, one day Jacob’s best friend asked Jennifer, “So, when did you two start dating?” While their first date was quite simple, grabbing a bite to eat at Sonic, their wedding day was fit for a queen. Everything from Jennifer’s makeup to the floral decor was planned with the love and support of an entire family and community of friends. You could just feel the love everywhere you turned, and during each toast, tails of fun, adventure, respect and admiration for the couple filled the air around the venue. As always, the staff at the Delamater House as well as the planner, caterer, bar staff and DJ brought to life each and every moment of the evening. It is always a pleasure to capture such special moments here. We hope you enjoy the photos, and don’t forget to leave Jennifer and Jacob your congratulations and well wishes in the comments below!

Central Florida Wedding Photographer | Mark Dickinson Photography | Mariah + Thomas at Delamater House

Mariah + Thomas were married at the Delamater House on the twenty first. They picked a special date to say their vows, exactly one year since the birth of their daughter, Kinzleigh. The date is bitter sweet though, since Kinzleigh suffered from a rare form of cancer and only lived a little over a month. Their decor reflected their love of their daughter, three candles on each table to represent the three of them. Their initials hung in the barn, as well as a burlap pennant banner with her name strung up in a corner dedicated to her memory. Their wedding color of purple was also significant of their late daughter, and everyone wore it with remembrance. The vintage rustic decor was paired perfectly with the look and feel of the venue. The bright sunflowers popped out against the background of rich woods and hints of burlap and lace. We hope you enjoy a sneak peek into Mariah + Thomas’ special day, and don’t forget to leave your well wishes in the comments below!

Sweet Honey Vintage Wedding | Alicia + Joey The Estate on the Halifax

Sweet honey favors adorned this vintage wedding at The Estate on the Halifax. The bridesmaids dresses were various vintage shades ranging from blues, toupees and baby pinks. Alicia’s dress featured lace and tulle accented with a sequinned belt. The groom and groomsmen added some spunky flavor to the mix with their action hero themed socks alongside their pink, black and white plaid ties. Another unique twist to Alicia and Joey’s wedding was her orate bouquet of a variety of broaches and pins in place of flowers. How stunning! Some of the details also included cute key charms and miniature bottles of honey as gifts for the guests ” Sweet honey vintage wedding” . The end of their wedding was complete with an awesome photograph of the newlyweds kissing in the charming sparkles. Congratulations to Alicia and Joey!

Michelle and Jim had a truly unique guest book: “We had all of our guests sign on vinyl records. We had about 7 out with chalk markers in gold, white and silver so they can easily sign! They are hung up in our bedroom now and add such a cool touch!”

Michelle and Jim’s centerpieces were vinyl records placed on mirrors and long white wisterias.

Words of wisdom for future brides? Michelle says, “The day FLIES. You’ll remember 7-10 faces all night. Take everything in. Stop, smile and observe. I wish I was guest at our wedding!”
