Kim + Travis | White Room Wedding | Casa Monica

White Room Wedding; What’s more to want than to get married in the city designated as the city of love? Doing it! Kim and Travis surely did and let me come along for the adventure. I can say that this is one of the favorite places to be if I had to pick in the Central/North Central Florida area. The sights, the sounds and the romance of the town itself inspires and invigorates me as a photographer. Some of my favorite places are large cities where you can people watch. Well, we let a few people watch them with a travel down Aviles Street for the after-photos. When I arrived at Casa Monica Hotel, I entered a packed lobby and elevator with all the guests checking in, I decided to hoof it 5 floors up via the stairs with a full 40lb pack for “Leg Day.” All of the pre-shots for getting ready and dressed took place at Casa Monica. They then had a the ceremony take place at the White Room and reception at the same location. The night couldn’t be any more perfect with evening dancing on the rooftop of the White Room. The weather became perfect for a typical spring night in Florida. We had to be careful being inside too long with the rain that had passed caused a little more humidity to linger, but it actually made for soft effects on the lights over the dance floor. Kim, Travis and I snuck away and headed down to the store fronts on Avenida Menendez to finish up before the sparkler exit at the alleyway of Artillery Lane. My favorite is the harmonicists playing in the streets. I threw him a few bucks after asking to do a little impromptu photoshoot with the newlyweds. Thank you anonymous player of music!
