Daytona 500 Club Wedding

Nothing is more fitting for a couple who’s into cars and racing than to have a Daytona 500 Club Wedding inside the International Speedway in Daytona Beach! Amy and Collin said their I-Do’s in front of friends and family at the Seabreeze United Church of Christ about two blocks from the beach before jumping in a stretched Escalade with their bridal party. The newlyweds arrived in style at the Start/Finish line after an escort around the track to take some fun photos as husband and wife while their guests looked on from the first floor of the 500 club just across pit row. Looks like we have a first place tie for creative wedding portraits! The colors of the day were classic black and white and deep purples. The colors were seen in Amy’s bouquet, the bridesmaid’s dresses and the cupcakes. The reception itself was energetic and full of laughter, dancing and Gator anthems. Guests were invited outside to Victory Lane to create some celebratory photos of their own. The night ended here with a grand sparkler exit and Amy and Collin driving their Camaro out of Victory Lane with Amy’s hands waving goodbye through the sunroof. Perfect Outdoor Florida Wedding Day

It was a perfect outdoor Florida wedding day for Christina and John took place on May the 1st. A simply beautiful day and perfect for sharing with this charming couple! The stunning bride and bridal party got prepared in a beautiful period home. The groom and groomsmen prepared in a 19th century Club Car. The ceremony site draped in white and shimmering with crystal accents took place overlooking the sparkling Halifax River. Guests witnessed special moments while Christina and John vowed their love to one another. Placing their messages in the wooden anniversary box and filling the white hourglass with sand brought joy to all in attendance. I loved the message on the box “Love is like fine wine, it just gets better with time”. Memories are that way too! Friends and family enjoyed an enchanting reception. Tables were dressed with white linens, silver chiavari chairs and tall gorgeous flowering centerpieces. It was a radiant evening with dinner, dancing and a 4 tier cake set with precious pink and white flowers. Pretty pinks, gorgeous grey, blue skies and Christina and John made this the Perfect Outdoor Florida Wedding Day! Congratulations, Christina and John!

Riverfront Private Estate Wedding and Outdoor Colonnades

A riverfront private estate wedding and outdoor colonnades along with a super fun couple like Stephanie and Tanner make for a beautiful day in April. I absolutely enjoyed being around this couple beyond words! The fun that we had experienced on the engagement session transferred over to the wedding. I have such admiration for these two! They are super fun together and it made our job so easy and natural! Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Elston for hosting such a lovely event!!!

Reception follows on the Halifax

This beautiful riverfront wedding took place at a splendid and palatial private home in Ormond Beach. The ceremony took place on the stairs with colonnades that surrounded the bride and groom allowing for a special and intimate ceremony. You could feel the love as vows were spoken and shared. Colors were brilliant and the riverfront setting allowed for a luminosity that combined beautifully with the crisp white linens, navy blue napkins and coral accents filling the reception area. The bouquets and centerpieces completed the vision! Garden and petite roses and colorful bursting ranunculus lent a delightful addition to the day and the reception. Following in the steps of Stephanie and Tanner, the bridal party and family were so much fun to photograph. The evening reception began under the tents overlooking the Halifax River with dinner, dancing and heartfelt toasts to the wedding couple and a “B”eautiful cake. Glowing candles surrounding the waters edge with the moon glistening on the water gave the end of the evening a feeling surreal joy and beauty. Congratulations Stephanie and Tanner!

“What’s in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” Heather Fields + Bobby Lavender = An adorable name change on their wedding day, hence the Fields of Lavender title! Even the wedding colors played on the couple’s last name! Some adorable details to look for in the blog are the groomsmen’s shoes, and the detail on the back of the wedding cake. I’m not going to tell you what it is, you are going to have to look and find it 🙂 Let’s just say the couple definitely loves to go fishing!
