One Powerful Wedding
Courtney and Stephen
Congratulations to Courtney and Stephen who had an amazing wedding at the Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange. Their wedding day started out like any other. When we arrived there were blue hearts being sewn into the bottom of her dress. These hearts were pieces of her late grandfathers shirt, so that Courtney could have him by her side throughout her special day. The color palette for her wedding was simple and elegant, blues, pinks and purples were infused throughout the tavern and really popped against the white table cloths. The chapel pews were lined with pictures of the couple all the way down the aisle. Her delicate cascading bouquet was made of up beautiful flowers with different hues of blues and purples.
Courtney was preparing to walk down the aisle to her soon to be husband. After their ceremony they would have their reception in the tavern and party the night away. However, right before dinner was served, with not a second after the prayer, a large boom occured! Everyone gasped when a transformer blew across the street and the bride and groom and all of their guests were stuck in the dark. Myself and the DJ ran to our houses and got generators to get things up and running for music and some lighting. Dinner was served by candle light, and we did all we could to get a little bit of light into the building including picking up 2 generators that would supply at least a little bit of light. Courtney and Stephen made the best of it, and it sure didn’t dampen the mood of their otherwise perfect day. After 2 hours without power, FPL saved the day and the lights finally turned back on and everyone let out a cheer! The exciting night ended with a romantic sparkler exit.
Take a peek at their special day below and leave them some congratulations in the comments!
