What to expect during your photo shoot.
Photoshoots are super fun, and easy but require just a little bit of knowledge ahead of time. I am excited to see new families come to the area and hire me for photography portrait sessions. I will make it easy to get everything set up. The reservation requires a $50.00 retainer, which holds the date and blocks anyone from booking your day and the alternate day. So we essentially hold two dates for you. The alternate day is for extreme weather conditions. If we have the inclement weather for the initial day of your portrait sessions, you will have a reschedule at my discretion to the alternate day. If your plans get too busy then we can also reschedule to that day. There is a $25.00 rescheduling fee for this type of reschedule. Weather reschedules are free of charge.
Clothing. As you will see from the samples below, there is a wide range of clothing styles you can pick from. Colors, patterns, elegant and the traditional white and khaki. The preference is up to you. I recommend colors like pastels, light and airy colors, but it is all up to your preference.

My goal for you and your family during the photo shoot is to provide you with an experience that leaves you coming back for photoshoots year after year as your family grows. Most of my family sessions are based on referrals, like couples who have hired me for weddings, and then began growing their family, however. I do not photograph children under 18 months. Typically when they are able to walk and move around freely is about the time I start photographing them. The locations for your portrait session are dynamic and generally safe for those who can walk by themselves without any assistance. For the photo shoot we will spend approximately 1 or 2hrs, depending on the size of your family. Our packages cover families up to 5 people; over 5 people, please add 15.00 per person.
