FAA restriction and guidelines for drone

Newly listed FAA restriction and guidelines for DRONE UAV, UAS and RC aircraft with camera or gopro

There was a post earlier today on the FAA website about the FAA restriction and guidelines for drone, that has since been removed. If you are flying a camera copter of any sorts this probably applies to you. It may not be in enforcement yet but seems to outline a safety course in effort to educate and fly safe. I currently have a RC phantom two quad copter that I fly recreationally and enjoy the hobby.

I sure hope they regulate this nicely as these devices are very similar to RC airplanes and there are a few select people who abuse both realms of the hobby. Skypixel is a fun place to share your aerial photos; here’s one I did over orange groves in Florida.
