What do you do for Rainy Day Weddings in Florida | Inspiration

You make PERFECT Rain wedding photos of course! Need some inspiration for your summer wedding? Let’s start planning your wedding; only the most special of all the days in your life!   So many questions right from the start…what month, what day, which venue?  It can seem so overwhelming! So much to think about and so many decisions!  Undoubtedly you will come across this question “What if it rains…rains? Yes let’s talk about Rainy Day Weddings! It wouldn’t dare rain on your wedding day, right?  Can you believe you would even think that, maybe if you didn’t think it – it won’t happen.  Many brides check out the Farmer’s Almanac to get an idea of what the weather has been like and what the forecast is for upcoming months,  others Google weather forecasts for the next 3 years!  Anyway you look at it if you are planning your wedding in Florida it is certainly an important question and one that needs to be answered prior to your decision on your venue and vendors.  It would be lovely to have a guarantee but we know that won’t happen and we never know when it will sprinkle, shower, drizzle or drench.  It’s always an important question to ask the venue and your vendors what their backup plan will be if it rains on your special day.

Having a Back Up Plan

Having that back up plan is essential and extremely comforting, it allows you to relax and to remove that question from your list of things to be concerned about. Knowing that the pictures are very important and will be the memories that you share it would be very important to discuss the possibilities of rain with your photographer and determine what kind of a back up plan should you have?  Inside shots won’t be to hindered but then you have planned to have unique shots taken at the venue – what about your dress, the wedding party, your guests? Some photographers will tell you that it will all work out and not to worry.  An excellent photographer will let you know that changes in plans can be made at the last minute depending on the weather and that there may a few moments when the weather breaks and those few moments will be used to gather some of the most awesome shots that never would have happened if it hadn’t rained and then share with you photos of weddings done.  It’s called Splash Flash and we do it all the time – In The Rain!
