Central Florida Riverfront Wedding | Sara + Troy | Wedding Inspiration

Wow! Need some wedding inspiration? Started the year off right with one beautiful wedding! The Estate on the Halifax’s location is clearly given by its name. The river that runs between the “barrier island” of Ponce Inlet and Daytona Beach Shores is called the Halifax River. The Estate located in Port Orange right in Central Florida is nested on the western bank and offered a beautiful view for Sara + Troy’s wedding. They decided to have a riverfront ceremony and it turned out amazing! With there being so many locations; The oak tree, gazebo, chapel and even the peninsula (for small weddings) that overlooks the lake, it sometimes is hard to figure out where to have the ceremony. The weather was perfect, a little cold but the sun-kissed some warmth back into you as their ceremony proceeded. It was a flawless day, photographically speaking, beautiful bridal party with a sense of fun and adventure. I can tell you I was super excited after meeting Sara + Troy on their Engagement session, doing some urban exploring that their wedding was going to be a blast. For a Monday, they kept me on my toes, and there were easily 100 people there until the end! High five to your guests for rocking it out all night! Enjoy the preview! University Club Wedding Jacksonville Florida

Here’s an amazing University Club Wedding Reception! Where are the shoes!!!??? Only a handful of people will know why that’s funny! Nothing is missing. Cindie and Nate if you don’t know by the first picture are in love, they’re finally married! Their wedding was up at Niagara Falls Canada, it actually snowed for them!! So awesome, take a look in their gallery for the wedding photos (must have password). Fast-foward a few days to January 9th, Jenn and I arrived at the Resort where the bride and groom were across the hall from each other. How easy logistically for a photographer. I was able to bounce back and forth a few times to Nate’s room. The guys had a football game on, but were starting to get ready. The lighting guy was on point with his assistance for throwing his suit on as you can see, you’re hired! It was such a pleasure being around such a sweet couple and family. If you haven’t had your wedding here it’s an amazing place, the captain for the reception was absolutely fun and friendly, I can’t wait to come back again. When I met Amanda + Matt, they were so kind and sweet, and I really saw such an expression of love between them. It wasn’t until I went to their home to do their engagement session that I realized how I was glad they were rubbing off on me! Their engagement session inspired me to make a little home cooked pizza with Lindsay! So if you are not friends with this couple and are coming here, I hope their story rubs off on you! For those who are you know how sweet they are and it made it so easy to tell their story. On the wedding day Amanda was soooo excited to get read, she asked a few times what time it was anticipating getting in her dress. When she was all set and done you could tell she was ready to be married! Matt, he showed the same excitement for meeting his fiance for the last time today! Enjoy the photos! Wilmington Riverside Wedding | Beautiful Fall Colors

If you’re wondering what a Wilmington riverside wedding in North Carolina looks like, stop here! Just recently I saw a meme on the internet that showed what my friends think it’s like living in Florida, but even as there are many gems in Florida, I too live in pine trees and palmettos. As the summer heat is finally breaking here in the Sunshine state, we are looking forward to a change of scenery (as well as a change in season!) this week as we make our way up the coast to the historic Wilmington, North Carolina! We’ve had a full year of weddings with incredible moments and sweet families and we can’t wait to trade a few palm trees for some historical backdrops! Traveling to a new place to create images is exciting and challenging. As artists it demands us to problem solve on the spot, and maybe show the beauty of a well known place with a new perspective.

Well, what can I say? We have beautiful river views at home in Florida, but none have a WWII battleship carved into the skyline during a sunset! This was something quite noticeable as the curtains were drawn back during cake cutting to reveal the town’s magnificent setting! And oh my, what an amazing wedding and couple! We began the day with the bridal party on separate floors of the luxurious Hilton Riverside. As the time drew near to the ceremony we were whisked away in one of Wilmington’s own downtown trolleys! The ceremony itself was a dream for all, including us as we were given full permission to shoot all over. Making our way back to the reception we made a few stops on our trolley tour to take some gorgeous photos. Jennifer + Jacob | Delamater House Destination Wedding

Jennifer met Jacob when she moved from Florida to Texas. Although it was not love at first sight for Jennifer and Jacob, their friends quickly realized that something was blossoming between the two of them. As the two began to hang out more and more, one day Jacob’s best friend asked Jennifer, “So, when did you two start dating?” While their first date was quite simple, grabbing a bite to eat at Sonic, their wedding day was fit for a queen. Everything from Jennifer’s makeup to the floral decor was planned with the love and support of an entire family and community of friends. You could just feel the love everywhere you turned, and during each toast, tails of fun, adventure, respect and admiration for the couple filled the air around the venue. As always, the staff at the Delamater House as well as the planner, caterer, bar staff and DJ brought to life each and every moment of the evening.
