Fall Wedding at Enchanting Barn | Congrats Ashley + David

Ashley + David had a beautiful day celebrating their love! A fall wedding at Enchanting Barn in Osteen, Florida was the perfect for this couple. What’s not to love about this venue, the location and this awesome couple! We first met Ashley and David for their first photoshoot at Gemini Springs. Head over to Facebook to see that! During their ceremony, Ashley + David did a wine ceremony, which consisted of taking two different wines that complimented each other once mixed. Once the wines were blended together, they could never be separated again. The wine ceremony added such a unique touch to their wedding ceremony. As you can see below, we had a beautiful fall evening. The sun peeked through the trees and fence giving us some perfect warm light. After the sun went down, the stars came out along with a full moon, giving Ashley + David the perfect evening for their celebration. After a small cake cutting battle and lots of fun dancing, we sent the newlyweds off with a sparkler exit! Congrats Ashley + David! Basilica of St. Paul Wedding | Mark Dickinson Photography | Brooke + Chris

Let me tell you a story about fun…this wedding at Basilica of St. Paul! While I was finished about an hour earlier than the reception was scheduled to be over, it did have me hammering out some dancing and partying before I had to leave. I was actually reluctant to ask Brooke and Chris to walk outside for just a few minutes to capture the first image of this blog. When I did and I showed them the photo I was a bit relieved. The wedding guests probably didn’t even realize that they had left since we were gone for a total of about 7 minutes. These two knocked this night shot out of the park. I watched two celestial objects, Mars and the Moon, rising together over the ocean and wanted to put both of them on top of one of the condos across the way and bring out 800 mm of shooting power to silhouette them in the blue moon. I would have been famous for a minute on the internet but realistically also not possible without crashing the party with their absence for 30-40 minutes. Being in a photographers head will have you all over the place hunting for creativity. Back to the fun of this wedding; everyone and I mean everyone was so excited, having fun and it almost didn’t seem like a wedding day with no “stressful” moments. It ended up being one of the most beautiful days for May for them, however you know how I roll with rain and whatnot, not a big deal. LETS GO!

St Paul’s is one of the largest churches in the area and lovely too. So if you’re in need of a beautiful Cathedral wedding in Daytona Beach, this is the place. I was so happy to be back at Oceanside Country Club again. Working there is always fun and the DJ worked it hard for the time that I had left to get some dancing and fun photos. Atlantic Center for the Arts Wedding | Rebecca + Cheryl

Here’s how to rock an Atlantic Center for the Arts Wedding! Rebecca and Cheryl had an elegant Star Wars themed wedding at the beautiful Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The colors of equality were present all around and Rebecca left no stone unturned when it came to the accents! You could find rainbows hidden in their wedding bands, cake, bouquet, nails and even the back of Rebecca’s dress! The rainbows really popped against their other black, white, and silver accents. Being a photographer means most often we are privy to upcoming surprises that the guests know nothing about; in this particular case it was the fact that Cheryl would be escorted down the aisle by two Stormtroopers. One needs not to be a Star Wars fan to agree that that is a super cool way to be walked down the aisle at your wedding! All guests gasped, laughed and cheered as the three of them made their way outside for the ceremony. Laughter turned into “oohs and aahhs” and happy tears followed as Rebecca and her father appeared before the aisle. The ceremony was perfect with personal vows made all the while being gaurded by soldiers of the Galactic Empire! After the ceremony guests were invited to enjoy cocktail hour while we had fun with some creative photos. The reception was a night full of “singing for your supper” light sabers and awesome dance moves. Towards the end of the night, we snuck away from the crowd for some shots to finish off the night. Estate on the Halifax Wedding

Anna + Andrew

What can I say!? I was able to photograph Anna and Andrew’s engagement (get to know you) session just a couple of days before their Estate on the Halifax wedding. We met up in Daytona Beach and had a great time doing some urban exploring. I drove around with them and we stopped at a few different locations to maximize the variety. It was refreshing and I was so happy to be able to fit that in with them before the wedding. The wedding day was a lot of fun! Their family, bridal party and wedding was just the same!

White Room in St Augustine – Villa Blanca blush and pastel wedding

The White Room in St Augustine is such a romantic venue in which to be married! Congrats to Kim + Adam. They had a beautiful blush and pastel wedding at The White Room, located in the heart of historic downtown St. Augustine, FL. Their ceremony was held at the Villa Blanca, followed by a reception in The Grand Ballroom. I had the absolute pleasure of shooting not only their wedding, but also the surprise engagement proposal in New Smyrna Beach that Adam had planned for Kim. She said yes, yes……yes!
But that’s not all! We also did a more planned engagement session for the two of them in Ponce Inlet, across from the lighthouse.
