With warm Florida sun and light on the mind, let’s talk about Jessica + Brandon’s Leu Gardens Engagement Session! This energetic couple decided on a gorgeous and fun place to take their engagement photos! Harry P. Leu Gardens is a fun and beautiful place to explore in Orlando. This park has many trails, luscious gardens, huge oak trees and many other beautiful landscapes that make up a perfect place to take engagement photos. The weather worked out perfect, giving us gorgeous light peeking through. Jessica and Brandon were great throughout their whole photo shoot! Most people are camera shy but they didn’t have a problem! Just look at their natural and inviting smiles!

Caitlyn and Coleman

Congrats to Caitlyn and Coleman who had a sweet vintage wedding at the Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange! Their color palette consisted of ivory and blush which complemented each other perfectly. Their special day was filled with many fun moments. After their ceremony we took the newlyweds and their wedding party for some fun pictures. Thanks to the groomsmen for being such fun and good sports for those! Their pictures of them holding bouquets made for a good laugh when I saw them! Before their grand entrance into their reception we went on the balcony of the Tavern to get some gorgeous silhouette shots of the couple with a beautiful sunset as their backdrop. The fun reception made way for their grand sparkler exit and then some awesome night shots, and even a rain shot. Fall Wedding in Central Florida

Miranda and Ben were married on a perfect fall day and had a beautiful Fall wedding in Central Florida at the Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange. All of their colors and decorations made for a beautiful fall wedding in Central Florida. Everything flowed so perfect and was so beautiful, which made for an awesome day. Miranda and Ben had a private moment together before the ceremony where they had their first look. They shared this special time together prior to exchanging their beautiful vows and saying “I do.” Ben and Miranda had a cute bubble exit waiting for them as they made their way out of the church and on their way to the reception. They continued on to have a fun filled party with lots of laughs, dances and even some games. Lastly, they ended their night with a stunning sparkler exit to send them off on their own, for the first time as a married couple!

This was our first Bridle Oaks Wedding! This classic rustic style is what a lot of brides are looking for. Bridle Oaks has that flair and jazz that defines it perfectly. Ashley and Brians wedding was spot on with all the details down to the boots to the cupcake stand. When I arrived though I was scoping out locations to fill the pages of their story. It was easy everywhere you looked. Brian was a bit nervous. I did an impromptu re-getting ready by the barn where Ashley’s dad helped him get back in order. It wasn’t but just a few minutes and I could see that Brian was ready to be married and have a party. Then when the time came, his emotions got the best of him and I couldn’t stop to think that no one in the area could feel the way he did. Except for Ashley’s dad, but in a different way you know. The girls were the rowdy fun ones this time. It usually tends to be the guys. but they all looked amazing, especially Ashley. As promised I told gradma’ that I would be using her purse, (she has yet to send me an invoice) but I promised her photo as the first! Wilmington Riverside Wedding | Beautiful Fall Colors

If you’re wondering what a Wilmington riverside wedding in North Carolina looks like, stop here! Just recently I saw a meme on the internet that showed what my friends think it’s like living in Florida, but even as there are many gems in Florida, I too live in pine trees and palmettos. As the summer heat is finally breaking here in the Sunshine state, we are looking forward to a change of scenery (as well as a change in season!) this week as we make our way up the coast to the historic Wilmington, North Carolina! We’ve had a full year of weddings with incredible moments and sweet families and we can’t wait to trade a few palm trees for some historical backdrops! Traveling to a new place to create images is exciting and challenging. As artists it demands us to problem solve on the spot, and maybe show the beauty of a well known place with a new perspective.

Well, what can I say? We have beautiful river views at home in Florida, but none have a WWII battleship carved into the skyline during a sunset! This was something quite noticeable as the curtains were drawn back during cake cutting to reveal the town’s magnificent setting! And oh my, what an amazing wedding and couple! We began the day with the bridal party on separate floors of the luxurious Hilton Riverside. As the time drew near to the ceremony we were whisked away in one of Wilmington’s own downtown trolleys! The ceremony itself was a dream for all, including us as we were given full permission to shoot all over. Making our way back to the reception we made a few stops on our trolley tour to take some gorgeous photos.
