Congratulations Makayla and Jonathan! The two were married at the Hard Rock Hotel in the world famous Daytona Beach, Florida. We met the bride and her bridesmaids at their suite in the hotel to take some detail and getting ready shots. Then we got to see the first look between the bride and her father, and then the bride finally met her groom for a romantic first look on the hotel’s terrace, backdropped by the beautiful Daytona Beach shoreline. After, we enjoyed a beautiful oceanside ceremony, followed by cocktail hour and more photos. The reception was a night of food, fun, and dancing. The night was topped off with a sweet lantern release by our beautiful newlyweds. Congratulations Makayla and Jonathan!

Shannon and Dino | Wilbur by the Sea

A perfect day for some seaside nuptials! Congratulations to Shannon and Dino! We met the bride and her bridesmaids for getting ready photos at a private residence in the quaint Wilbur by the Sea, Florida. After the girls were ready, we made our way to the newlyweds’ home for a sweet ceremony on the beach, beautiful oceanside photos, and dinner and dance. Congratulations again to Shannon and Dino!

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Wedding Venue | Orlando, Florida

We recently made the trip down I-4 for a beautiful wedding at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort. This was such an amazing wedding and I just wanted to take a moment to highlight the beauty of the Grand Cypress. The pathways of this resort weave through gardens that lead you to their beach front area and waterfall pool. There are so many neat and exciting views around every corner at this resort. Every wedding that is booked at the Hyatt Regency includes a wedding coordinator so your day stays on time and on track. This resort offers six different wedding venues with seat options ranging from 30 guests to 2,750!!!

The Celebrations

Lauren + Erik opted in for a first look which took place in a garden area and this turned out amazing. Lauren + Erik’s ceremony took place overlooking the water on a bright summer day. Luckily, there was a gazebo overhead so the guests stayed as cool as possible. As we explored the resort during the bride + groom portraits, there were new things to see around every corner. An old barn, huge trees with hanging lanterns, bridges and a beach area were just a few of the stunning areas around the resort. Then their reception was held in the Grand Cypress Ballroom. This room has big windows and beautiful hanging chandeliers that created a perfect light situation for their celebration.

Romantic Riverfront Daytona Beach Wedding

Congratulation to Kristen + Carl who had a beautiful and romantic riverfront Daytona Beach Wedding! Their ceremony and reception took place at the Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor this past Saturday. Different shades of pinks and beautiful floral arrangements were perfect for this spring wedding on the river. Since their wedding was taking place on Earth Day, they opted in for a tree ceremony instead of the popular sand ceremony. Each set of parents got to take turns pouring in their portion of soil and then Kristen + Carl ended by watering the tree. The newlyweds will plant this tree in their backyard + watch it grow as their love does! How neat is that!? After their beautiful, and quite windy, ceremony, Kristen + Carl started their reception with a choreographed first dance. After a delicious meal, all the guest were not only invited to enjoy thecir cookie bar but a pretzel bar from Auntie Anne’s Pretzels. Also, they had two caricature artists that would draw an amazing photo of you in the midsts of enjoying this evening. After lots of fun dances and toasts, we ended the night with a couple long exposure sparkler photos! Take a peek into their wonderful day together and leave them some love in the comments.
